OverviewThe Enablement & Operations (E&O) team enables Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Team to better serve every person and organization's transformation and economic success. How? We design, build, and manage the levers that accelerate commercial growth-including compensation, business performance and insights, planning, skilling, tooling, and engineering. The MCAPS E&O Planning team plays a pivotal role in driving MCAPS' commercial priorities across the business. The team leads a collaborative global Fiscal Year Planning and Landing process inclusive of all MCAPS teams and regions, working closely with the MCAPS Leadership Team and their Planning/Landing Leaders. As the Senior Business Program Manager, Planning & Strategic Landing Communications, you will be responsible for building and partnering across MCAPS to communicate and deliver the strategic narrative for the fiscal year. This role is critical in ensuring integrated and cohesive communications across our planning process and strategic outcomes, including creating clarity around priorities and predictability and efficiency in how comms are received. You will be embedded into the MCAPS commercial planning team, reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Planning, but will partner closely with the MCAPS communication leads and planning leader v-team. This U.S.-based role offers flexibility in that you can work remotely from home or a Microsoft office near you. ResponsibilitiesSupport the landing of Fiscal year changes (and or semester changes) through the development of relevant communications bill of materials, communications timing (tick tock) and communications assets to support landing. Partner with relevant segment, function and Area communications to execute the communications plan.Establish end-to-end narrative aligned with fiscal year goals and strategies and a communication plan to effectively and efficiently deliver the messaging Align and engage MCAPS on fiscal year changes and events (i.e. Microsoft Leadership Summit, START), communicate effectively, and enable relevant fiscal year planning storytelling for executives Support MCAPS communication, alignment, and engagement, and develop guidance and content for fiscal year Planning and E&O leadership as required Anticipate landing needs and facilitate teams to produce materials that deliver a connected cross-organizational narrative, inclusive of the details required to design down to specific team and role needs. Work as part of the team to develop and execute communications strategy for critical change, landing and adoption programs managed across MCAPS Play advisory role on significant strategic change initiatives and the flow of communication to the organization: make recommendations based on business interdependencies and understanding of the overall strategy in order to guide communications stakeholders on the most impactful approachWhere agreed, own end-to-end comms plan and editorial plan to drive global communications in support of program goalsAct as point of reference for transformation comms requests e.g. messaging alignment for executive articles, etc.Align the execution of communications plans across multiple communication areas, teams and groups for the relevant change programsRun agreed communications campaigns for employees and managers to surface Area most impactful practices across from change program in order to mobilize community engagement around these changesSupport the change program owners with the development of communications template and reusable assets for the programInnovate communications frameworks and methods to maximize effectiveness of landing and adoption programs, developing relevant processes and assets to allow use across change programsProvide support where needed to Planning leaders with content and scripts to deliver keynotes or critical business presentations or messages to Microsoft teamsOtherEmbody our Culture and Values
