About the role SIGN-ON BONUS - $5,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year) Position Description: TheCDL Class A Driverwill drive a truck with more than 5,000 gallons of liquid to transport materials to and from specified destinations. Secondary transport duties include the operation of semi-roll off and van body equipment.CDL Driverswill be able to operate various equipment, including vacuum tankers, trucks, vans, and flatbeds. Responsibilities: Drive a truck and operate specialized pump equipment on the vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials. Prepare customer delivery tickets specific to the product delivered and obtain customer signatures. Complete accurate electronic Driver Logs daily. Document record of materials and products transported. Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according to state and federal regulations. Communicate, verbally and electronically, with dispatch regarding delivery instructions. Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions. Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Secure cargo before and during transit. Ensure elite standard of all operating equipment, including but not limited to the inside cab, outside cab, outside tanks, hoses, trays, fittings, and all other ancillary parts. Ability to train CDL drivers on properly operating specialized pump equipment on the vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials. Complete additional assigned duties. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED preferred. Must be 21 years or older due to interstate travelin a commercial vehicle and federal regulations. Possess a validClass ACommercial Driver's License. Tanker and HAZMAT endorsement is required. Minimum 5+ years of driving experience. Has not received any disqualifications to drive a commercial motor vehicle according to the provisions of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, 391.15. Abide by standard DOT regulations at all times. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be responsible, well organized, and exhibit great safety awareness (identity and correct conditions that affect employee and client safety). The expected hourly pay rate for this position is $29.00. This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary figure will consider various factors, including experience, ability, and location.
