Salesforce's Office of Ethical and Humane Use is seeking a Sr. Manager or Director of Product Management to play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of products and processes that support the responsible development of AI agents and other new technologies. In this role, they will cross-functionally shape and deliver guidance, guardrails, controls, and trust patterns that help Salesforce develop innovative, honest enterprise AI. Their work will directly influence how Salesforce products are designed, developed, and deployed, ensuring they meet the highest standards of Trust. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Product Manager or builder of technology products (with a special emphasis on AI) and expertise in consensus-building among teams with varied strengths. They will also have experience analyzing and solving issues related to responsible AI and/or ethical tech. The successful candidate will lead key aspects of Salesforce's Responsible AI & Tech work with internal engineering, product, and design teams by building controls, mitigations, and guardrails and proving their efficacy in partnership with our Testing, Evaluation and Alignment team. For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,800 to $334,600. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $211,500 to $306,600. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
