*OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR ONE OF THE LARGEST HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS ON LONG ISLAND* *FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY WITH ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT * *MELVILLE, NY * *MONDAY - FRIDAY 9AM-5PM* *$23/HR* *Benefits:* * Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Company Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, and additional Voluntary Plans. * Vacation, Sick, and Personal Days. *Qualifications: * * 2 years of call center experience or medical administration experience * Ability to manage inbound phone calls * Excellent communication skills * Microsoft Office proficient *Responsibilities: * *Patient Services Representative:* * Schedule appointments via inbound and outbound calling software for Healthfirst and other initiatives. * Interact with patients in a supportive and caring manner, providing exemplary customer service. * Notify management promptly of any issues in making appointments, such as lack of availability. * Report problems with phone or EPIC systems both in Melville and at the clinic level. * Update patient demographics and pre-register patients in EPIC. * Utilize Cisco Systems and EPIC programs effectively and efficiently. * Use resources provided by Call Center management, such as Clinic Quick Tab, FAQ, and provider enrollment grid, in an effective and efficient manner. * Learn and assimilate new information quickly and adapt to clinic changes. * Ensure all internal customers (co-workers, other departments, supervisors, etc.) receive personalized, prompt attention and strive to address their needs and concerns. * Promote a collegial and supportive work environment by appropriately interacting with colleagues and assisting in training as requested. * Follow management instructions regarding day-to-day procedures, including checking and responding to emails and Amtelco chats. * Maintain full knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures. * Understand and utilize all departmental resources appropriately (e.g., Quicktab, provider enrollment grid). * Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, and take on unrelated duties in times of emergency. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45425.00 - $49375.00 Benefits and Perks: Excellent Salary including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Company Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement and additional Voluntary Plans.
