Position Title: Grinder
Wage: $18/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Grinder for a company in Lake Geneva, WI. This is a contract to hire role. Grinder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate, set up, and maintain all grinding machines - Operate multiple grinders and shot peener at the same time - Perform safe usage, handling and inspection of abrasive wheels and guarding requirements and work -safely around grinders and related work area - Properly dress grind wheels and identify when wheels need to be replaced; when the wheels need to be replaced, notify team leader/supervisor - Perform all required in-process checks and data collection inputs - Complete necessary paperwork and travel documentation - Maintain a clean and organized work area Grinder Requirements: - Prolonged periods of sitting or standing - Regularly stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. - Must be able to lift to 50lbs at times - Must be able to read and follow written work instructions and customer blueprints - Ability to use and understand electronic tablets for production data input, inspection measuring and test equipment - Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
