Our Team

We are a part of the Brand Communications and Impact in the Experiences Organization, and the Social Impact team plays for a better tomorrow through strategic investment of EA's resources-people, products, philanthropy, and partnerships-to make a positive impact in the communities where we live, work, and play. We create value for the enterprise and strengthen EA's brand and reputation by driving outcomes in closing the opportunity gap in STEAM education and building connected communities where everyone can grow. In collaboration with company and community partners, we design and amplify high-value, equitable programs and experiences in and around EA's games to allow employees and players around the world to inspire the next generation of creators and innovators. You will report into the Head of Global Social Impact, and as the Social Impact Specialist, you will help level up our social impact outcomes and bring the best of EA to inspire the world to play.

You will:

  • Lead project management of employee Matching Gift and Volunteer Rewards Program and Volunteer Time Off benefit, including back-end administration of employee volunteer and giving platform and relationship with the vendor.
  • Support employee volunteer and giving experiences in collaboration with internal groups and nonprofit organizations, including on-site activations at the EA Redwood Shores office and virtual activations tailored for offsite employees.
  • Support the network of impact champions at the EA Redwood Shores office.
  • Help develop "playbooks" and toolkits of information and resources for studios/franchise/departments to plan and execute volunteer and giving activations.
  • Manage inventory and distribution of swag and giveaway items.
  • Collaborate with brand and communications teams to help develop stories and capture content from events for creative storytelling, highlighting the value of EA's social impact work for internal and external audiences.
  • Support team operations like managing the team's internal company website.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of the team's shared Google drive and other tracking systems.
  • Support team culture programs, including on/offsite events and other moments that matter.

Qualifications:

  • You have experience with project and program administration.
  • You have experience with the field of social impact, corporate social responsibility, and engagement with nonprofits.
  • You have experience with event planning and logistics.
  • You have experience executing projects as a successful contributor to a team in a busy and complex environment.
  • You have experience with creative storytelling, content creation, or social media.
  • Creative and learning mindset.
  • Knowledge of Google collaboration tools and Microsoft applications.
  • Some experience with employee giving and volunteer management platforms (e.g., Benevity, YourCause, Deed, Bonteerra, Submittable, Bright Funds).

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
    • $70,700 - $104,600 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
