Summary Director, Risk Management Director, Risk Management leads and partners with field management and operations teams to expertly execute our strategic objectives in the areas of safety, safety culture, compliance, policies/procedures, training, and change management to protect people from injury and safeguard the business from unnecessary risk. This position is responsible for the identification, analysis, evaluation of loss exposures under Advantage Solutions Programs. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert on technical standards and best practices in all areas of food and physical safety. The Director, Risk Management will ensure field operations continues to follow well-designed processes for operational safety and risk management (OSHA & FDA). Additionally, the role will work closely with senior management, Safety and Compliance and other cross-functional departments to ensure that safety and compliance considerations are assessed, developed, and appropriately integrated into their overall strategies. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Implement and reinforce HEALTH AND SAFETY processes, standards, and programs across the business segment. Partner and coach field operations teammates to drive improvement in HEALTH AND SAFETY KPIs. Intervene and provide HEALTH AND SAFETY governance as needed to ensure no compromise to all applicable norms. Inspect stores and warehouses to identify safety, health, and environmental risks, especially in high incident sites, and drive continual improvement through audits and assessments. Analyze data and in-person inspection results to develop and execute effective risk and loss prevention programs and safety initiatives to control or mitigate unsafe conditions, accidents, and injuries. Continuously review data trends and evaluate internal operating processes, systems to implements changes and enhancements as appropriate. Identify systemic issues across total Experiential to drive resolution, escalate critical issues to Safety and Compliance partners and Business Ops leaders. Project manage and provide business input to major segment projects and all related regulatory and compliance issues that arise and impact Experiential. Collaborate and drive consensus across Legal, Safety and Compliance, HR and Businesses as needed and in a timely manner. Ensure accurate, comprehensive, timely reporting of incidents, actions and follow up (incl. trend / root cause analysis). Responsible to stop and intervene any unsafe related condition/behavior. Analyze, review and manage high exposure, and/or catastrophic claims and litigation. Identify exposure and assess liability through evaluation of claim loss statistics and trends; generate management reports for operations and senior leadership. Support the organization in lawsuits as appropriate and make Risk Management recommendations to upper management.
