Overview: We are seeking an attorney to join the Real Estate Department in our Minneapolis office. The ideal candidate will have over five years of wide-ranging transactional real estate experience, with significant experience performing core real estate transactional tasks. We are particularly looking for candidates with deep experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial leases, and negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements and related ancillary documents for both sellers and buyers in commercial real estate transactions. Ideal candidates will also have experience representing developers in negotiating and drafting various agreements for real estate developments; representing borrowers in mortgage loan transactions; representing developers in negotiating and drafting various agreements for real estate developments; representing borrowers in mortgage loan transactions; managing real estate due diligence for sale and purchase and financing transactions and for corporate transactions involving real estate; and managing the closing of real estate sale and purchase and financing transactions Preferred candidates will have: 5-7 years of transactional real estate experience, with a demonstrated ability to independently handle core real estate transactional tasks Significant experience with negotiating and drafting complex commercial leases Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills Strong academic background J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to be promptly admitted in the state of Minnesota Our Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits options include medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, short-and long-term disability, employee resource benefits (inclusive of counseling, coaching, and care-giving guidance), parenting classes, paid-parental leave, pre-tax parking and transportation options and paid parking for senior associates, and much more! In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $240,000 - $260,000 / year. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
