Responsibilities
The Pavilion Behavioral Health System currently has a part-time Switchboard Operator position available. This position will work every Monday and Thursday (3:00pm - 10:00pm) and every other Saturday and Sunday (3:00pm - 10:00pm). The Pavilion Behavioral Health System is a 106-bed psychiatric hospital located in Champaign, Illinois. We offer inpatient psychiatric services to youth and adults as well as a voluntary drug and alcohol addiction recovery program for adults and a residential treatment center to youth ages 10-19. Qualifications POSITION SUMMARY: Manage and facilitate the facilities' incoming telephone calls and transfer calls effectively. Project and maintain a professional image to callers, as well as visitors, staff, and patients entering the building. Process intake paperwork & inquiries utilizing established policies. Type and copy various facility materials. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: One year experience as receptionist/administrative assistant or position relevant to customer service preferred. Other knowledge/skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Use of office equipment, i.e., computer, copy machine, fax, telephone. Ability to work with customers in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
