General Summary: The Pharmacy Technician II are responsible for a variety of duties to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of proper inventory levels, and keeping appropriate records and documentation. Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED is required. Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training: -Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified required, or obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of hire. Licensure required. -PTCB for pharmacy students can be waived for those who have an active Pharmacist Intern License. -1-year experience, or equivalent, as Pharmacy Tech I. Shift: PRN/Casual (up to 16 hours per week) - Rotating shifts, including weekends & holidays is required. Salary Range: Minimum 31.00 per hour - Maximum 31.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
