The Logistics Program Assistant plays a key supporting role in day-to-day management of logistics operations.
This position is responsible for assisting in coordination,execution and tracking of the logistics program and
procedures. Completes reports related to logistics functions, including but not limited to risk analysis for
materials & storage, inventory management, relevant budgetary compliance, material logistics, continuous
improvement, and overall Logistics strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supports Program Manager high level administrative assistance including scheduling meetings, communications, reports and various tasks that help the program manager stay organized and focused on key business priorities.
  • Leader for developing, complying, executing, and continuously improving processes for safe and effective remote warehouse operations and compliance with warehouse lease contracts.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of logistics setup of new sites.
  • Prepare, maintain, and track logistics-related documentation.
  • Enter and update data in logistics management systems and generate reports on inventory levels and program progress.
  • Help record and support logistical SOPs
  • Prepare and support Logistic procedures
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports; investigate gaps, seek solutions, and implement countermeasures to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Develop metrics that effectively measure Logistics business-critical performance for quality, delivery, and/or cost, make them transparent, and own continuous improvement efforts based on those KPI attributes.
  • Champion continuous improvement activities and support Lean initiatives across the site to align with corporate strategic goals.
  • Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 and/or the customer(s)
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or relevant equivalency is a plus
Experience:
  • Prior experience in Logistic/Supply Chain is preferred but not required. Preferentially in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience; including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling the work assignments of others.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of fundamental business practices and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to develop and anchor standard operating procedures that effectively capture Logistics processes and tasks for successful execution of the job duties.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. The employee may be required to work in tight, confided spaces. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
