We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Regulatory Administration/Filings Manager join the Regulatory Admin team. This role is located in Boston, MA - Hybrid. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead multiple teams of Regulatory Administration and Filings staff that provide clients with board administration services and regulatory filings to the SEC.
- Lead delivery of prospectuses, proxy statements, and other SEC required filings to clients and provides guidance.
- Review and approve work done by the Regulatory Administration team, ensuring alignment with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert on regulatory administration and filings topics and provide guidance and training to staff and clients.
- Stay abreast of relevant industry trends, regulatory developments and best practices and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other business units and functions to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with in-house counsel to ensure major filings are created and delivered in accordance with the regulations.
- Provide oversight, strategic guidance and assist in managing change whether that's due to regulatory updates or internal transformation.
- Facilitates conversations on topics that are relevant for client board meetings.
- Manage relationships with clients accounting firms to ensure client information and data needed for regulatory matters are exchanged in an efficient manner.
- Escalate to senior management when appropriate to highlight potential risks, key changes impacting the delivery of Regulatory Administration services.
- Engage and lead key projects helping to deliver strategic objectives.
- Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. JD from an accredited law school preferred.
- 7-10 years of total work experience including 1-3 years in management is preferred.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred.
