Job Description
The Opportunity The Department of Mathematics, Science, and Technology at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide invites applications for a research-active colleague with a background in applied mathematical or physical science who incorporates modern methods, such as physics or engineering informed machine learning, into their work. We seek a candidate who can teach a range of courses (for example mathematics, statistics, or data science / computer science) while contributing to interdisciplinary research initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty in the department and across colleges and campuses to advance research in our signature areas. With the recent growth of ERAU-WW engineering programs, the department also anticipates an increased demand for expertise being applied to engineering, such as engineering informed machine learning. ** Please note that this a US-based remote role and moderate travel is required for mandatory College meetings/events, and for scholastic activities (e.g., conference presentations).
