The Director will develop, design, and create original content for Creighton Athletics, with a premium placed on high-end videography. This position will also oversee our creative services team in addition to overseeing a group of freelance graphic designers. Creighton competes in NCAA Division I as a member of the BIG EAST Conference.The position will focus creative content (video, photo, graphic design) for use on various social media platforms along with in-venue at Creighton home games.

Expected to produce creative content (videos/photos/graphics) that elevate the brand's profile for Creighton's 14 varsity sports through original and creative concepts.

This position will report to the Executive Associate Athletic Director for External Operations.

  • Produce high level video content for Creighton Athletics that includes shooting and editing dynamic pieces for all sport platforms, i.e. website, social channels,.
  • Shoot, edit and produce video content for social media and recruiting content.
  • Travel with select Creighton Athletics sports teams, as assigned, to capture, edit, and develop event-related footage.
  • Responsible for content creation plans and execution for assign sports and projects.
  • Mentor and collaborate with a group of student interns on all aspects of video production and creation.


Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
* Minimum three years of experience in sports media production at the Collegiate or Professional sports level, athletic communications or related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Working knowledge of the following social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Instagram.
* High level creative video editing experience with demonstrated editing skills, and experience using professional editing software.
* Knowledge of current video and photography equipment.
* Demonstrated ability in film editing, Adobe Creative Suite, graphic design & live sports video experience.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively under multiple, strict deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
