Job Summary |
Provide support for the exchange programs (incoming and outgoing
students) within Auburn Abroad Office of Auburn University under the
supervision of the Assistant Director.
Temporary Employment Services (
TES), a unit of the Auburn University
Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established
to meet the temporary employment needs of the university.
TES provides
qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of
occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary
employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a
specified period of time
Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
Assistance with special projects
Seasonal work
Emergencies

Essential Functions |
Marketing and Liaising: Assists marketing and supporting projects of Auburn Abroad services across campus to key stakeholders such as academic advisors, faculty, and current and prospective students and their parents. Develops and manages marketing strategy and guide.
Program Support: For programs running, works on course building and student enrollment. Assist with updating process for AU-led programs and training respective AU employees on system. Does not serve on on-call emergency team but is expected to have knowledge and ability to triage emergencies if received (would receive CSA, Clery, Title IX, MITC, and incident reporting trainings).
Student advising and applications: Advises students interested in studying, interning, or conducting research abroad, either on credit or non-credit programs within their portfolio of programs. Assists in regularly reviewing student application, website, and marketing materials to ensure that they are up to date. Processes eligibility for the office.
Operations: Handle other job duties as determined to assist with new processes, protocols, demographics and policies. Provides on-site coordination for OIP Programs abroad as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor's degree in discipline appropriate to position with no experience. |
Desired Qualifications |
Experience in education, administration, or with study/living/working abroad
is preferred. |
