Summary:


The Export and Sales Operations Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Lubrication Management division of SKF. This position combines customer relationship management with export logistics coordination, ensuring seamless operations and superior customer service. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, managing export documentation, and coordinating shipments onsite to meet customer requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities:



  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, internal sales teams, and international SKF offices by handling customer-facing activities via phone and email.


  • Provide pricing and delivery information, manage customer order books, and handle customer complaints.


  • Work closely with Production Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, and the Warehouse to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.


  • Prepare and communicate product return authorizations and issue credits and debits to resolve invoice discrepancies.


  • Delivery error and carrier return investigation onsite.


  • Process export orders in JD Edwards and create export documentation using Global Wizard software.


  • Coordinate onsite with outbound the consolidation of air and ocean export shipments.


  • Work to ensure shipments are prepared timely and ready for carrier pick up.


  • Oversee carrier pickups and ship confirm orders in the system once completed.


  • Send export pre-alert emails with tracking and documentation to customers.


  • Coordinate onsite with freight forwarders and transport carriers for export shipments. Ensure pick up of shipments with correct documentation.


  • File export documentation and maintain organized records.


  • Enhance export documentation processes for better efficiencies.


  • Read and interpret export and dangerous goods regulations and attach proper documentation to shipments.


  • Other duties as assigned.





Requirements and Qualifications:



  • 2-3 years' experience in an international trade setting and export documentation preferred.


  • Prior customer service experience required.


  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.


  • Strong technical aptitude and business mentality with the ability to make solid business decisions.


  • Motivated self-starter and team player with a positive attitude.


  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and AS400.


  • Knowledge of world geography; second language skills a plus.


  • Ability to walk in a warehouse environment for extended periods safely.
