  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part timePatient Service Representative/Medical Secretaryposition. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

This is a 40 hour per week position.

Your Role:
Mid Coast Medical Group - Women's Health | MaineHealth has an immediate need for a full time Scheduler. The Scheduler for booking/scheduling complex procedures and appointments to ensure appropriate continuum of care from pre- through post-procedure care. The Scheduler verifies and enters patient demographics, insurance data, medical information, and accuracy of Provider order. The Scheduler must communicate information concerning appointment times, departmental schedules, scheduling procedures, and the requirements/preparations for the exam with Provider, outpatient/inpatient departments and/or patients as needed.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Two years of scheduling experience or customer service role in a medical field preferred. Completion of Medical Terminology course preferred.
