Clinical Program Assistant, ITA Court Mukilteo, WA Compass Health is currently looking for a Clinical Program Assistant to join the team in Mukilteo! Compass Health's Evaluation and Treatment facility provides a 16-bed inpatient program in Mukilteo to mentally ill adults under 72-hour involuntary detention and/or 14-day commitment in accordance with Washington State Involuntary Treatment Act, RCW 71.05. Evaluation begins upon admission to obtain baseline information and to assess physical status, preform psychological evaluation and mental status examination and determine global functioning. The data is continually updated in an individualized treatment plan to provide the highest quality of care possible in a dynamic situation. Clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction are assessed and the data is used to improve treatment within our quality improvement program. What you will be performing The Clinical Program Assistant - ITA Court is responsible for providing support to the Court Evaluator to facilitate communication with case stakeholders to oversee cases are accurately and completely presented and expedite case movement through the legal process. The Clinical Program Assistant performs a variety of complex clerical and administrative duties with minimal supervision. Responsibilities may include triaging calls, coordinating communication between the ITA court team at Mukilteo Evaluation and Treatment Facility (E&T) and the Snohomish County prosecutors office, assisting clients, families, and other agencies in getting answers to questions, ensuring critical court paperwork is filed and relayed in a timely fashion in accordance with deadlines, coordinating and management of information tracking systems, maintaining client confidentiality, and providing general clerical support to clinical, court and E&T administrative staff as directed. Tracks and maintains all court calendars, ITA court filings and records requests. Coordinates directly with the Court Evaluator and with the Clinical Manager of the E&T. Supports the ITA court system at Mukilteo E&T by supporting coordination of the Court Evaluator and ITA treatment teams roles specific to the ITA court process. Ensures all records are acquired, maintained, and communicated appropriately to ensure smooth operations of the ITA court function at Mukilteo E&T Proofreads, drafts and/or finalizes correspondence, legal documents Acts as a liaison between internal departments and outside agencies. Organizes and tracks status of cases and assists in the management of court appearances. Prepares summary reports for the Court Evaluator and E&T management regarding the status of scheduled hearings and case outcomes. Prepares for and attends court hearing as assigned. What you will be carrying along High School Diploma or equivalent required, One year experience in medical, mental health, social services or legal field preferred. Valid Washington State Driver's License required including vehicle and appropriate insurance, if applicable. Current First Aid & CPR certification and Food Handlers permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. What you will be sharing Ability to relate effectively with patients, agency staff, other community programs, and the general public. Excellent clerical and/or administrative skills. Strong attention to detail Experience of E-Filing with Washington court systems or ability to learn The ability to work well under pressure with great attention to detail The ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding discussions, records, files, documents and information. Superior communication skills (written, oral, and listening) with the ability to work with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, handling multiple competing priorities, sensitive situations and crisis situations and functioning well under time pressure.
