Job Title: Manager IT Operations

Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Reports to: Senior Manager of Business Applications and Operations

Department: Information Technology (IT)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager IT Operations will be responsible for Environmental Solutions Group (ESG) daily information technology execution and information technology reporting compliance. The position will partner with Business Applications Manager, Terex Central lead teams, and 3rd Party vendors to support the systems/tools/applications stakeholders require to operate their functional area and meet all information system audit requirements. They will also manage IT Operations personnel at our corporate office and manufacturing plants. The manager will be responsible for the daily operations as it relates to the network, servers, printers and personal computer equipment. Some travel to meet with stakeholders and observe processes may be required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Support end user processes, and ticketing for Information Technology support across ESG.
  • Work with the Business Application Manager to ensure technology infrastructure supports all project requirements.
  • Lead in the planning and execution of IT Operations projects
  • Lead workflow and process strategies to improve targeted business performance.
  • Leads the design and development of processes to monitor and measure operational Information Technology and infrastructure performance.
  • Support shop floor data collection activities including networking and hardware.
  • Acts as mentor/leader for junior members of the team to help develop their skill sets.
  • Coordinate IT SoX Controls compliance for IT infrastructure.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors and engaging appropriate Terex level resources to ensure IT operational performance across the enterprise.
  • Acts as first point of escalation for level I IT Operations Analyst.
  • Compile and present management reports on the IT Operations performance including metrics, project deliverable status, etc.
  • Some travel is required up to 15%.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Systems, or similar is required or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of Software solutions, business functions, workflows, and processes.
  • Experience supporting in working with enterprise scale applications is preferred.
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting cloud-based environments. (AWS, Azure, OCS)
  • Detailed knowledge of local and cloud networks.
  • Customer oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Results-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills and strong management skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills required.
  • Excellent written and great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong report writing abilities, an aptitude for analyzing data, and great business acumen.
  • Detailed knowledge of workflow and process control software.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal and interviewing skills.
