Job Description

As the Procurement Specialist, this position acts as a strong business partner within the company's Buyers and Category Managers team. This role provides transparent information to enable and drive effective decision-making in achieving our strategic objectives. One of the main duties is identifying and developing reports that generate business insights and support decision-making using Coupa Analytics and a combination of cross-sector data sources. Other important duties include, but are not limited to:



  • Supplier Registration: Manage the supplier registration process from start to finish, including responding to all supplier questions, Coupa system requirements and format, forms programming, and integration.
  • Payment Terms, Training, Admin: Enforce and implement company standard payment terms with all suppliers, provide training to both internal teams and suppliers to ensure a seamless and smooth process. Responsible for all department administration requirements, including Coupa Catalog, Punchout, hotlink design, and responding to all CC_Purchasing questions.
  • Travel: Set up users in the company travel portal, follow up with all users about their travel needs, negotiate with top spenders for better rates, and manage site implementation.
  • P-card: Manage company purchase card reports, new requests, follow-ups, audits, and initiate the request for new cards until delivery.
  • Uniforms: Follow up with the uniform contractor(s) and address all company changes and requirements.


This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the supply chain operates efficiently and cost-effectively. result oriented, team player, with excellent analytical skills and an interest in data science, critical thinking, proactive and communicative personality who can connect with all layers in a demanding and highly technology driven organization.

Standards and qualifications for this role:



  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories to achieve value creation.
  • Change management: Implementing category or commodity strategies to optimize business efficiency. Then Executing elements of the overall operations category strategy
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods. Fostering vendor and internal stakeholder relationships
  • Start to finish RFP events: Leading category strategies and strategic sourcing events.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Category Strategy: Develop and implement category strategies that align with the overall procurement strategy.
  • Reporting: Present reports to management highlighting trends, savings, and any issues within the category.
  • Cost savings: Driving cost-effective solutions and cost savings to achieve the organizational goal.


Qualifications:



  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: MBA is preferred or Relevant qualifications in procurement and supply, CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certifications level 3.
  • Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in analyzing data and market trends to make informed decisions.
