RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:



  • Quality Control Managers (QCMs) oversee compliance and related initiatives to brief the ROM/CMM weekly.
  • QCMs identify and review information requiring DMLSS entry.
  • QCMs continuously evaluate DMLSS RPIE and PM procedures for accuracy, completeness, and potential procedural enhancements.
  • QCMs review binders daily and maintain records and our ROM/CMM and AAALAC/TJC/EOC/LS SME audit
    compliance documents quarterly.
  • QCMs inspect subcontractor work performance continuously throughout the contract and our Subcontracts Manager
    monitors contract actions for compliance with established agreements.
  • QCMs coordinate with the DHA Infection Control Office to obtain, document, and comply with USG infection control measures.
  • QCMs oversee our ILSM for projects to protect the safety of animals, visitors, and staff at USAMRDC's multiple locations and outlying facilities.
  • QCMs develop our QCP (Quality Control Plan) per required submittals, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Manage QC programs per SOW requirements and applicable codes/standards by providing clear/precise QC parameters to site management and USG.
  • Work with Corporate QHSE to create QCP and ensure Valiant and subcontractor personnel compliance, and maintain ISO certification.
  • Monitor performance of QC activities in all other work centers covered by the contract and provide remedial training as necessary.
  • Prepare/submit required QC reports.
  • Perform all required QC inspections on work in progress and after completion.
  • Verify materials acquisition and DMLSS input to ensure timely, accurate data entry, and perform weekly QC inspections.
  • Generate inspection reports compiling findings and deficiencies, and submit report to Facility Management/COR per QCP to include annual report.
  • Direct regular safety training for onsite Valiant personnel.
  • Inspect in-progress work to ensure compliance with local, state, site, and federal safety rules and regulations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Certificate from USACE Quality Management for Contractors Course (otherwise qualified QCM may complete the first USACE Quality Management for Contractors course available after contract award) (SOW 3.3.8)


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
