Job Description Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking to hire a Senior Manager, Patient Educator in the Atlanta area, to join our growing team. This Patient Educator will report to the Director, Patient Educator and is responsible for providing people living and affected by sickle cell disease (SCD) and beta thalassemia (BT) with education, tools, and resources that helps them have meaningful discussions with their healthcare providers. This team will also provide information about Vertex products. Patient Educators will contribute to the U.S. local market strategy, and coordinate/execute the patient/caregiver tactical plan. This individual will have a strong passion for supporting patients, their families, and caregivers and helping them understand and successfully navigate and engage within complex healthcare landscapes. They will thrive in an environment of rapid change; demonstrate effective communication; work effectively across multiple cross-functional teams; and have a patient-first, problem-solving, and analytical mindset. The successful candidate will have the courage to ask, "how might we?" and "why?" and an ability to successfully challenge the status quo to provide innovative and compliant solutions to complex healthcare challenges. The candidate would ideally live in the Atlanta or Nashville area, but covering SC, NC, GA, AL, IL, KY, TM and IN. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

#LI-Remote #LI-BW1 Pay Range: $136,000 - $204,000Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
