We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to spearhead our multiyear product realignment and optimization strategy, aimed at achieving significant financial and delivery improvements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and overseeing the necessary workstreams, ensuring each project is backed by an approved business case and adheres to trade compliance parameters. This role involves executing and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. Additionally, the candidate will have experience in relocating product lines between factories, from developing the business case to the startup phase. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and ensure the successful transfer of manufacturing intercompany work transfers. This role is not available for new/future sponsorship, transfer, or renewal of nonimmigrant work visas. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion through effective communication and leadership.
- Establish key project metrics, monitor budget and schedule adherence, and manage project milestones.
- Align and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Support and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), incorporating risk mitigation and evaluating critical paths.
- Lead cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) across various departments to ensure commitment fulfillment.
- Monitor and control the budget, develop and analyze Estimate at Complete (EAC), and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies during international transfers.
- Report project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and lead root cause analyses for performance anomalies.
- Conduct evaluations to identify improvements and document lessons learned.
- Up to 50% travel
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; master's degree is preferred along with project management certifications.
- 10+ years of proven experience as a project manager in manufacturing, with a focus on complex, multi-site product line relocation and international work transfers.
- Must have full-cycle experience: developing business cases to startup & execution.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control.
- Strong financial acumen and organizational skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Preference Eastern or Central Time Zone, USA
