Are you a self-starter who possesses integrity and a willingness to learn and improve? We are seeking aTurnaround (TAR) System Improvement Leadwithin our Project Resource and Outage Support (PROS) Group located onsite inGonzalez, LA, Allentown, PA, Pasadena, TX, Long Beach, CA, or Remote Residence Based. This position may require the ability to travel 10-25% depending on assigned workload. This is a diverse group that supports Industrial Gases (IG) North America capital projects, strategic planning, turnaround planning, and turnaround execution. This allows our team to provide specialized services and additional capacity for infrequent events to operational assets. This role reports to the Manager - Project Controls Engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead & own the development or improvement of TAR specific DT Applications, program tools administration, Sharepoint administration, and compliance reporting
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Turnarounds DT efficiencies
  • Develop work practices, tools and training to support the development of the organization for long term sustainability
  • Identifies, develops and leads initiatives to streamline current processes, resolve systemic issues, improvement projects to drive operational excellence
  • Partners with teams across the organization to implement data driven solutions, track progress, and ensure sustainable improvements.
  • Leads and supports change management efforts related to process improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder engagement
  • Collaborates with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure initiatives align with organizational priorities and deliver measurable results
  • Provides guidance, training, and support to teams on continuous improvement methodologies, fostering a culture of excellence
  • Continuously monitors market trends, emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation and elevate continuous improvement efforts
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts within the TAR team to understand and close gaps in the TAR process

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • 5 - 10 years relevant experience in maintenance, IT and/or engineering disciplines, understanding of turnarounds preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills
  • Works professionally and harmoniously with employees, peers, management, support personnel, program participants and business area persons
  • Utilizes positive and constructive attitude toward resolution of problems and conflicts
  • Accepts direction, constructive feedback, and supervision
  • This is a safety sensitive position

Education and Licensing Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficient in the use of computers and business software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and process improvement tools (e.g. Mural, Vision) preferred
  • Experience in methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, WAVE, Kaizen, RCA preferred

Work Hours & Benefits:

Typical work week is 40 hours. Travel may be required in U.S. and Canada, primarily California, U.S. Gulf Coast, Edmonton, Ontario, and U.S. Northeast. The work environment is diverse from an office setting to onsite at Air Products operating facilities. In California, the expected pay range is $86,605-$130,000, plus Company bonus. This is the pay range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
