This position is part of American Family's Actuarial Tools & Modeling team in the personal lines product area. The team is responsible for developing data-driven solutions to new and complex business problems primarily tied to Insurance pricing. The person in this role provides the highest level of expert analysis, consulting and project or staff leadership for the actuarial activities related to insurance pricing and modeling. As a member of this team, you will apply and integrate statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling and business analysis skills to manage and manipulate complex data from a variety of sources. You will collaborate closely both within and across teams to build modeling processes, iteratively enhance model performance, and share out results to stakeholders. Furthermore, you will work with product and IT teams to implement models into production and then monitor/adjust based on changing markets and future trends.
