Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Coordinator.The Research Coordinator will accelerate and facilitate the research endeavors of the Environmental Pediatrics Division of the NYU School of Medicine. Specifically, this candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator to collaborate on several projects that will support research into the effects of early-life environmental exposures on children's health. Under the new NIH-funded national study, Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO), we are following infants, young children, and their mothers to determine associations between environmental factors and conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Job Responsibilities: * Supervise the performance of investigational sites for the study which includes screening potential patients/subjects for eligibility to the study by providing basic explanation of the study, educating them about the study including the possiblerisks/benefits, procedural details and significance of the study and schedule the initial visits. This includes researching and gathering information from the medical record and/or physician referral. *Assists with the editing and preparation of manuscripts. Assists with duties related to the production of academic journals. Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Science or health-related field plus at least 2 years experience in clinical research. Preferred Qualifications: Master's of Public Health or equivalent degree. Clinical Research Certification (ARCP or SOCRA) is preferred. Prior experience working with Research Protocols, recruitment and follow-up of research participants, and data collection. Knowledge/experience with statistical analysis and statistical softwares (SPSS, STATA) preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Phlebotomy skills is preferred. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $71,252.82 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
