An exciting opportunity for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with interest, training and experience integrating behavioral health services into primary care. This position is located in MaineHealth Primary Care Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Windham. This is a 20 hour position with benefits. The clinician's role would include providing screening, assessments, and focused treatment to patients of the practice. Treatment structure includes individual, family, and group work. Additional functions of the role includes linking patients to additional services and supports, providing curbside consultation to providers, and participating in population health activities that targets the health and wellbeing of specific groups of people. Persons interested in this position must be comfortable working with all age groups. Knowledge of and interest in treating substance use disorders is preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred, or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor by exception. Valid Driver's license required.
  3. Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:Knowledge of community resources and agencies.
