Vice President, Commercial Retention and Growth The VP, Commercial Sales and Retention is accountable for developing and executing Commercial net client growth and retention plans based on Medica's corporate goals and objectives. This role oversees the Commercial sales and account management teams for MN, NE, and the Dakotas, working closely with the Regional Market President and Market Leaders to build and enhance relationships with providers, brokers, government, community, and members. This VP, Commercial Sales and Retention sets direction, supervises staff and monitors activities that enhance key Commercial brokerage relationships, lead identification, target prospecting, RFP strategy development, product innovation, and sale closure. The role works closely with the business development team for geographic expansion, and influences product development by providing marketplace input on financial decisions. Key Accountabilities:

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office, Minnetonka, on average, 2+ times per week. The full base pay salary range for this position is $224,000 - $336,000. Annual base pay salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and or licensures, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible for Medica's Short Term Incentive plan, Long Term Incentive plan and our Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan.
