Position Summary As a part of Student Engagement and Well-Being at Metropolitan State University of Denver, the Office of the Dean of Students is committed to student safety and well-being by fostering a university community of integrity and respect. Functions within the Dean of Students Office include: student conduct, student conflict resolution services, coordination of the CARE Team (behavioral intervention team), and the Student Care Center. Operating as a branch within the Dean of Students Office, the Student Care Center provides non-clinical case management, generalized support and referrals for students in crisis, manages the CARE Team (Case Management), oversees the Student Emergency Fund, and assists students in pursuing resources to address unmet basic needs. The Compliance & Operations Manager will play a critical role in the Dean of Students Office by assisting in the production of compliance reports (e.g. Clery Act Annual Security Report, Drug Free Schools and Communities Report); improving reporting processes by developing or building upon processes, practices, communication, activities, and record-keeping; and developing a more robust student employee professional development program. Additionally, the Compliance & Operations Manager assists with the database management responsibilities (using Maxient system) and coordinates assessment functions for the Dean of Students Office. This position reports to and works with the Associate Dean of Students to ensure that MSU Denver is in compliance with all regulations included the Clery Act, Violence Against Women Act, and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act. The Manager works with the Assistant Director of Student Accountability and Behavioral Intervention on updating and maintaining our Maxient database. Salary for Announcement The minimum of the pay range for this position is $45,300. We anticipate the qualified candidate to be placed between $47,300 - $56,650. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. Additionally, Student Affairs has committed to tying our salaries to an understanding of a living wage. To that end, we will not pay less than $47,300. The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
