Summary: The MaineHealth Strategy Team is responsible for supporting system-wide initiatives designed to advance MaineHealth's strategic goals through three main areas: long-term strategy, key organization partnerships and affiliations, and growth investments. The team provides the analytical, research, business planning, operations and project management support on a range of projects related to system, Member hospitals, and Trustee-lead initiatives. The Strategy team consists of 6 care team members who spend their days working closely with stakeholders to understand their goals, conducting research on a variety of healthcare services, working with complex datasets to analyze data and creating compelling narratives in order to advance strategic initiatives. An intern within the Strategy team would have the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to research, project management and data analysis work as well as learn qualitative skills necessary to navigate the business of healthcare. Preference will be given to students pursuing business, healthcare administration, public health, or other related areas of study. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate's Degree program, Bachelor's Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred. 2.
