Summary:
The Intern role provides administrative and project support within assigned department, while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.

The Access to Care program, part of the Center for Health Improvement, is dedicated to ensuring access to comprehensive, affordable healthcare while enhancing the quality of life in our communities.

We are offering a hands-on, project-based internship focused on technology education for staff. The intern will play a key role in supporting staff with familiarizing themselves with Microsoft 365 tools, which are widely used across the MaineHealth system. While a technology degree is not required, we are seeking a tech-savvy individual eager to learn and engage with various systems. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with data analysis and reporting through our Electronic Medical Records system, uploading and editing training videos on Vimeo, and helping to develop onboarding and training materials.

Key Responsibilities:
*Assist with technology education and support for staff using Microsoft 365 tools.
*Work with data and reports from the Electronic Medical Records system.

*Upload and edit training videos on Vimeo.

*Develop and update onboarding and training documents for staff.

*Assist with other technology platforms that may be identified at a later date.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the success of healthcare technology initiatives.

Preference will be given to students pursuinga degree in Information Systems/Technology, Library Sciences, Training/Education, or Social Services/Public Health/Healthcare field with a technical aptitude.
