To learn more about Herzing University and our values, visit us at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FusbVnks_YQ The role of part-time ESL tutor (50% FTE) will work with individuals and small groups of students in specific courses or academic skill areas such as reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, etc. As a professional tutor with English as a second language-specific credentials, this position will provide tutoring and supportive resources to non-native English-speaking students to prepare them for success in their classes. The ESL Tutor must be able to communicate clearly and concisely (verbally and in writing) as well as to recognize variations in student backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles. The ESL Tutor reports to the AANAPISI Grant Coordinator. This part-time position is grant funded for 4 years with potential for continuation. Hours are variable based on student and business needs.
