JOB SUMMARY:

* Create a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while performing the tasks of registering, routing or escorting patients, family, or visitors. Register patients to receive medical services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Obtain demographic information, validate insurance, and collect payments. Answer and/or refer questions received from patients, visitors, and staff. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired.

*2 years of Related Healthcare ExperiencePreferred.

* Solid understanding of Healthcare TerminologyPreferred.

* Strong Communication Skills. Strong work ethic and energyPreferred.

* Thrives in a demanding and professional environmentPreferred.

* Excellent business judgment and customer service skillsPreferred.

* Able to distill patient financial information and present essential info in a concise mannerPreferred.
