1st Shift Product Returns Tester (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm) Join our family We're looking for friendly, hardworking folks to join the awesome, high-energy team to help test and evaluate the functionality of returned home and car electronics at our Charlottesville Returns Processing center. This facility serves as the focal point for sending out various large consumer electronics, such as large screen TVs and floor-standing speakers, to customers across the country, in addition this location processes all customer returns. About the role Our Product Returns Testers process items that are returned and make the decision as to whether a product can be returned to stock under one of our inventory conditions to then be resold to our customers. There are several criteria that must be evaluated when making the decision regarding a returned product and this process is critical in making sure that items being returned to stock are in the best possible condition. Our Product Return Testers have extensive knowledge of products and their functionality and are able to interpret the customers return reason, and then test the gear accordingly. Job duties for a Product Returns Tester include, but are not limited to the following: Checking in customer returns Listening for mechanical defects or distortion Replacing missing or used accessories Ordering and organizing accessory inventory Cleaning and repacking the products for shipping Using a foam machine to repack products The ability to use a variety of testing tools Operating automated equipment such as stock pickers and forklifts Loading or unloading trucks Standing, sitting, walking, and bending Overhead reaching/lifting Ability to navigate a step ladder/regular ladder Lifting up to 75 pounds Willingness to become forklift certified Previous forklift experience is a plus Crutchfield is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ethnic origin, religion/belief, disability, veteran status or age. #Crutchfield |
