Your role:

The Analyst, Health & Welfare Benefits and Mobility will provide administrative and analytical support for the benefit and mobility programs for the US with possible future expansion to Canada. You will report to the Director, Global Benefits & Mobility.

What you'll be doing:

Health and Welfare Benefits:

  • Assisting with financial monitoring and analysis of benefit plans.

  • Processing of benefit plan invoices/wires and vendor payments

  • Developing and maintaining scorecard analysis

  • Monitor benefits budget on a monthly basis

  • Develop and manage project plans to ensure the team meets deadlines and deliverables

  • Support health and welfare benefits plan administration

  • Familiar with aspects of benefits administration, including benefits-related federal regulations such as ERISA, COBRA, FMLA and ACA

Global Mobility:

  • Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate payment, analyze trends in vendor billing to identify potential issues or identify areas for improvement

  • Perform month end closing procedures, including reconciling account balances, cross charging expenses, and preparation of financial documents

  • Maintain financial records and oversee preparation and completion of year-end activities

  • Respond to vendor and stakeholder inquiries regarding costs, billing, and expense payments

What you'll bring:

  • One to three years of HR related experience

  • Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of benefits and Global Mobility

  • Ability to work with sensitive information confidentially

  • Ability to operate in global environment

  • Analytical and decision-making skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Detail-oriented

  • Vendor management experience a plus

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $64,000 to $88,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
