Department:ICHI | Community Programs 2Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:*** This position is located in El Dorado, AR ***The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will be responsible for providing comprehensive health exams for women during the antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal periods, as well as engaging in well-woman care, health education, contraceptive counseling, and providing care for episodic and chronic illnesses. Additionally, they will be trained to provide group prenatal care and facilitate group education as a CenteringPregnancy provider. The APRN will be community-based and provide care from a mobile health unit. The APRN will also provide support to other clinicians in the practice, including providing education on evidence-based practice and providing technical assistance. They will also provide support to women and their families in the practice. Independence, in consultation, and billing of inpatient and outpatient consultations will be expected. This role requires involvement in clinical research activities. The APRN is responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the UAMS.
