Memorial Hospital is excited to be offering a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Apprentice Program! This is a paid program that will fully equip its participants with the appropriate education and licensure to work as LNAs. Once the program is complete, you'll have the opportunity to work as an LNA in Memorial Hospital's Long Term Care facility, Merriman House! Additional details below -

  • Duration of 7-weeks
  • 12 hours per week.
  • Tuesday and Thursday from 6:45AM to 1:15PM.
  • On-site at Memorial Hospital.

Summary:
Under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Nurse in Charge, the Apprentice - Licensed Nursing Assistant role provides direct care to residents/patients.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred with the exception of candidates who are attending high school or dual enrollment in a LNA program and high school equivalency program. 2. License/Certifications: Active enrollment and participation in a State of New Hampshire approved LNA program which prepares the Apprentice to sit for the State of New Hampshire LNA Certification Exam. 3. Experience: N/A 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
