Description
Location: Work on-site in Japan.
ECC is seeking an Intern for a ground-up construction project for a seven-story hotel in Japan. The intern will assist the project on-site in Japan during the summer of 2025. Living expenses will be provided by ECC. This is a unique opportunity! In this position, you will:
  • Under close supervision and following specific instructions, performs basic construction engineering type duties, quality control and health and safety support as needed by the project
  • May be assigned to complete special projects
  • In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Education: This position requires a high school diploma and must be currently enrolled as a third, or fourth year student in an accredited university working towards a Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, civil) or Construction Management degree
  • Bilingual in English and Japanese desired, but not required.
ECC targeted base rate is $22-$25 an hour. ECC will provide lodging, meals, and transportion.
