Description MaineHealth Orthopedic Pediatrics Surgery & Sports Medicine, South Portland, is recruiting a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Pediatric Nurse (PNP-AC) to join our Pediatric Orthopedic team. The successful candidate will provide medical care with physician supervision, as part of an established care team. This position will further support a busy pediatric orthopedic surgical practice which provides care to a diverse population of children. In this role, the candidate will provide hospital and office-based evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal concerns, including athletic injuries, trauma and congenital abnormalities. In addition to the outpatient practice setting, this position will support operative and hospital care as needed. Orthopedic experience in pediatrics is preferred. These duties are performed in accordance with established standards and practices as defined by Maine Medical Center, the State of Maine, and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Schedule: Monday - Friday, day shift in the ambulatory clinic. Additional coverage as needed in the Operating Room, Hospital and Pediatric Multi-specialty clinic. Participates in the Sports Surgery/Medicine office call rotation. Minimum Qualifications:
