Responsibilities

Are you an experienced registered nurse, committed to providing direct patient care in a behavioral health setting? Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral is looking for you! We are currently recruiting to fill Registered Nurse (RN) - Temporary 12-week assignment positions for our acute and residential programs.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.

Duties include: Assess mental health needs; develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care; administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician; to ensure safety and provide consistent therapeutic milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.

Pay

$45 per hour plus shift differentials

Schedule

Full-time RNs will be scheduled 6 shifts in a two-week period with alternating weekend coverage.

Part-time RNs will be scheduled 2 shifts per week with 2 weekend days required within a month.

Night Shifts: 7:00pm-7:30am


Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited college of nursing.

Experience

Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred, but not required.

Age-Specific Competencies

Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric

Licensure/Certification

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina.

CPR/CPI Certification Required - provided upon hire.
