Valiant Integrated Services is looking for a Military Analyst 6 who provides advanced analytical and technical support to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design, training scenario development or other efforts requiring military operations expertise. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion.
- Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data.
- Tests the development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs.
- Identifies and recommends emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.
- Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.
- Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff and may have supervisory responsibilities.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
- Applies extensive knowledge and expertise related to U.S. military training, simulation, operational, logistics and maintenance to assist software developers in formulating, articulating and prioritizing training/simulation requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience with training events that are utilizing one or more of the following simulations and communications software:
- Joint Land Component Commander Training Capability (JLCCTC) / Warfighter's Simulation (WARSIM)/ WARSIM Intelligence Model (WIM).
- Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS) Low Overhead Training System (LOTS), or any of the Army Mission Command Systems.

- Experience with US DoD modeling and simulation defense programs and/or creation of constructive, battle command interface, and gaming simulation databases in support of an exercise, event, or testing.
- Experience configuring, operating, administering, troubleshooting, and maintaining one or more constructive simulations.
- Experienced as Army FA57 desired. Former U.S. Army or Marine Corps Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry, Combat Engineer or Special Operations officer, warrant officer, or NCO with experience leading a team, squad, platoon, or company.
- Experience as a military instructor. Typical incumbent has 12-15 years of experience as an Operations Analyst.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
