Workforce Scheduling Majors: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems The Summer Internship Program at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a key source for identifying, attracting and developing future talent within our company. We are seeking self-motivated candidates who possess a strong technical aptitude, keen analytical, problem-solving ability, excellent communication skills, and leadership skills. This program is a great way to gain a head start on your career by working on meaningful projects, learning valuable skills, connecting with employees and managers throughout the company, and potentially building a future career at the company. Through hands-on relevant work experience, the internship program will allow the student or graduate to learn the business of Arkansas Blue Cross. Interns will receive professional coaching and participate in team building exercises. Weekly leadership forums are required where the intern will participate in open discussions regarding the corporate business and culture. Full-time Arkansas BlueCross BlueShield employees are not eligible for internships. Reference letters are not requiered. Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE This position is identified as level three (3). This position must ensure the security and confidentiality of records and information to prevent substantial harm, embarrassment, inconvenience, or unfairness to any individual on whom information is maintained. The integrity of information must be maintained as outlined in the company Administrative Manual. Segregation of DutiesSegregation of duties will be used to ensure that errors or irregularities are prevented or detected on a timely basis by employees in the normal course of business.
